For the inclusive youth center An der Sonn in Helmdange (Lorentzweiler/Lintgen), we designed and developed a modern website that serves as a central information platform for young people aged 12 to 26. The platform is thematically aligned with the center’s pedagogical and socio-educational approach, offering a structured space for interaction, empowerment, and participation.
At the heart of the website is the presentation of diverse projects and activities – mobile, inclusive, and closely connected to the daily lives of young people. This includes outdoor programs, creative workshops (“GIMB”) focused on healthy nutrition, awareness initiatives, and a regular Smartphone Café to promote digital literacy.
The design and information architecture were developed to ensure that users can quickly access all relevant content at any time – activities, media gallery, contact options, and event calendar are all intuitively accessible. Technically, the site is based on a barrier-free, multilingual concept (Luxembourgish, French), meeting the digital youth work standards in rural areas.
